3 orders!

Last time I wrote I had my first order and since then I have had 3 orders in total!!! Amazing right?!?! I love it! I'm hoping everyone loves their orders! I just sent out emails to see if everyone loved them and hoping for a response soon! But, I know everyone is trying to detox from the holiday season before having to return back to the real world. But, I can't wait!!!!
My 1st order was a custom Michigan hoodie, the 2nd one was two hoodies: nice and a naughty (both custom!), and the 3rd one was the Jets hoodie that I posted on my etsy page. Pics to come later!
I also just started a page on facebook! I definitely got some kinks to work out with this one! lol. But, I am pretty sure I need to look at that with fresh eyes to understand. later for now!

Game Day Hoodie

I posted today my Game Day Hoodie! I am so excited! The picture and the hoodie came out so well! I noticed that the pics have came along way too. lol. I also noticed that I joined etsy a year ago in November and I am finally getting started! lol. I also have some more good news. I have two pending sales!!!! I got my first order in Saturday and the other today!

My Day

I had a very busy eventful day. I started out going to the grocery store, going home and getting Pixie. She went with me to get an oil change. Dropped her off at the groomer's, started my KCP day a little early (hooray!!!) When we finished I took her to Partridge Creek for the first time. We went to 3 Dogs Bakery, walked the whole length of the mall and stopped in For Love. We then came home Pixie took a nap and I started cooking dinner. Later took her to her doctor's appointment. And before leaving out I started talking to one of the employees and she loved Pixie's hoodie and I told her that I did it. I left my business cards with her and she said that they would look at my etsy page soon!!! I'm super excited! I love potential clients! And tomorrow is my KCP day!!!!! I can't wait!!!!

KCP day!!!

I am excited that I am going to have a KCP day! Wondering what is a KCP day? Well, KCP day for me is everything KCP! I going to go the fabric store and get some fabric. I'm hoping to get some sewing done. If I finish something I can post it to sell. I haven't be able to do anything for KCP in a while so I am super excited! I need to get planning on what I need to do!

Where is my business cards?

Of course my business card could not go without a kink in my chain. Catprintz called last week to tell me about my order and it needed to be fixed. I had it fix and sent to them within an hour. I was suppose to get my cards yesterday and they are not here. I figured I would wait until today and they are still not here! Where are my business cards?

So, I guess ordering my business cards couldn't go smoothly. I order my business cards and I'm super excited until I get a call from the printer company. They tell me that I need to add more border to my cards so the cutter doesn't cut anything out. Luckily, I was able to get in touch with my sister and she fixed it. I had to resend my order. Now, I'm playing the waiting game to hope they come out right and hope they get here on time!

I finally got my business cards ordered! I am so excited! I should recieve them next week Wednesday. I am excited to see what they are going to look like. I went with the ones my sister made. So, u know they are super cute!

Bummed again

Since, the internet wasn't working I decided that I was going to design myself another business card. After alot of issues like deleting stuff by accident I decided to stick with my sisters design. I tip my hat to her.

I am finally able to get on the internet to order my business cards and the psd file isn't showing up right. So now I'm bummed once again cause I can't seem to order my business card. Now, I'm going to bother my sister again.

I am so bummed! Everytime I try to get on the internet is always out! :-( I can't do anything! I can't check my email, order my business cards, or plain just surf the net for some ideas! The good part is I can blog from my phone and check email but it doesn't help with anything else I need to do. I just pray it is working when I get home!

I'm blogging to you from my phone! I just got a new phone and I'm hoping this will keep me better connected to my KCP world! Well, we'll see what exciting things can come from this! Ta ta for now!

What's been going on in the world of Kennel? Nothing much. Just brainstorming for new items and figuring out where the money is going to come in from.

But, what is new and upcoming for Kennel Custom Pups is our logo tees. You can have the KCP logo on your doggie shirts. The shirt will come in black or white with the KCP logo on it. Other colors will be added later.

Still, in the works is those doggie beds! I haven't forgot about them! :-)

Some people don't understand clothing

Some people don't understand clothing. I found the more I told people what I did before I really got started they frowned out at me. I have a few people that like what I was doing but others seemed not so much on board. And most of the time I just got mistaken for making doll clothing instead of dog.
It's interesting to hear what people say about dog clothing. I've heard that dogs don't need clothing that's what their fur is for. Clothing on a dog! Oh, they have gone to far! And my favorite how can you be a dog clothes designer and you don't have a dog yourself! That just seems odd. And that was before I even gotten my puppy.
I believe that dogs need some help sometimes. Smaller dogs need something to keep them warm in the colder months. And dogs can have something cute all year around. And most people forget about my big dogs. They may like to dress up too even if isn't for Halloween!
I'm just saying sometimes you may want to spoil your dog and who said it couldn't be dog clothing!

What's up and coming for KCP

What's up and coming for KCP. Dog beds! Pretty soon KCP will be offering a line of doggie beds for your little friend. I am so excited to announce that! To see when it's coming? You're just going to have to keep checking in later!

I'm excited!

I'm excited! I just got off the etsy chat and it sounds like a may have 2 potential sells! I'm so excited and on top of that it will be two custom orders. The thought of actually having a sell and posting the custom order online is an electric feeling. I don't even know if I could really explain the feeling but, I can't stop smiling. Imagine the feeling I'll have when I actually have a real sell....

Look at the views!

Look at the views that I have! I have 49 views for my most recent posted fleece hoodie, 50 for my black wisdom tee and 36 views for my white wisdom tee. I could never really imagine I would have this many views even without a sale. But at the same time this is the first month of me being official being open for business. I guess I'm not doing so bad and it hasn't even been a month yet. I think I just happy with the views that I got so far.... :-)

Creative Block

I must have creator's block. I can't think about what I should come out with next. I know I probably should not have a creator's block so early in the game but I do. I just think about it and I realize I have so much that I could come up with and it could become overwhelming. I haven't added a dress yet or a doggie bed. And I have ideas for both. All I have to do is sew and I would have a doggie bed. I just don't know what to do or really where to go next.
I have two custom orders and I am stumped. I have two have ideas for one dog and no ideas for the other dog. So, I'm back to the drawing board for everything. If any on has any comments or suggestions post it. I'm listening. Until then rock on creative block!

What's New

What's new with me? I just added my new fleece hoodie! It comes in an assortment of colors. I think its pretty cool for the winter. I just added this hoodie Saturday and I'm already up to 30 views in the past couple of days! I'm excited because this new post passed my other recent posts and they were posted earlier in the month. They are just reaching views of that magnitude now.
I also just updated and finally finished my bio on etsy. I didn't know what I wanted to say at first but once I got started it just flowed. I didn't even know if I really wanted to updated. I was thinking about just leaving it as is because I couldn't figure out what I should say. That's probably why I had been avoiding it for so long. I'm glad I finished cause now I can move on to bigger and better things! :-)

What to do? but do I really want to....

I figured I would add a new blog today seeing how I don't know what I want to do. I could go in the basement and sew but its cold down there. And I really want my back keeping me up all nite? But, its hurting now and all I'm doing is sitting on the couch. Do I really want to relax cause I am tired? But, know me I probably won't allow myself the pleasure of doing that. I could take a shower to warm up because it is bitter cold outside and I am freezing inside. Options on what do *shrugs shoulders* clueless. All I know is that my dog is bothering me for some attention because she hates to see my laptop.
But, on the up and up I have gotten 18 views a piece on my two shirts that I posted on etsy the other day. I'm proud of that but no sells. But, I am okay with that too. I think the reason I am okay with no sells is because of how long it took me to get to this point that I am okay with just looking at my work online. My sister has had me on the etsy chat for like 2 days trying to network. Its so different being on that chat. There are so many things I have to learn to do in conjunction with trying to chat. Its something I'm going to have to get use to if I want to make a sell. But, I guess its all in a days work....

KCP is here!

This is a few years in the making and it is finally taking shape. KCP is here! I took care of all of the business paper side of it last year (or so I hope :-o). This is going to be the year where I will actually be running the business and making things for everyone to see, buy, wear and enjoy! :-) I've already got two items posted for people to buy and I'm excited about adding more. I think what kinda took me so long is that I was trying to come up with numerous items to sell then just one good one and then adding as I go. This is going to be a fun and interesting ride and I'm so glad to be on it!
